Why it exists
A company in the United States looking for an engineering team in Latin America has two kinds of source available: the providers’ own marketing, and directories that rank by who paid. Neither answers the question the buyer is actually asking, which is whether a given supplier is what it says it is.
This site answers a narrower question honestly rather than a broad one vaguely. For every provider it asks: is there a registered company behind this, are the people named, is there published work with named clients, do independent review platforms carry anything, and does the company tell a buyer what it costs before a sales call. Each answer carries the source it came from and the date it was read.
What we do not do
- We do not sell placement. No provider can buy a listing, a position, a tier or a reconsideration.
- We do not run advertising, and we do not accept sponsored profiles.
- We do not estimate. A figure nobody measured is published as pending, never as a number.
- We do not rank companies we have barely looked at. Below a coverage threshold the score is withheld and the evidence is shown instead.
How it is funded
By advertising, disclosed as advertising. One company, LoopStudio, has a commercial relationship with the operator and appears in a labelled Featured partner block. No provider can buy a listing, a position in the ranking, a tier or a reconsideration — and the code enforces that rather than this page promising it. The editorial policy sets out exactly how.
Corrections
If a figure on this site is wrong about your company, we want to know, and we will fix it and say when it was fixed. The editorial policy sets out how.
Who runs it
TODOName the person or company operating the directory, the country it is registered in, and a contact address. An independent directory that will not say who operates it is asking for exactly the trust it declines to offer.
